Mr. B's Auto and Transmission

If I could give zero I would. This guy started with 5-10k to rebuild my engine and transmission. After having my engine and trans out of my car so he could give me a quote. Then calls me weeks later and is at 13k. I finally went down there and said give me my estimate in writing. Finally gives me a quote for 17k. This is an antique that I restored from the ground up so I said as long as it’s right move forward. Let’s just say, 2 years later fixing all the disasters this shop left behind. I was never able to drive the car after I picked it up with a tow truck. The trans vac not hooked up. Carb accelerator missing the clip and unhooked on its own. Engine advanced higher to compensate for using old parts in my distributor. Not to mention this is after he blew my first engine. His tech told me on the side. Listen if I was you, get your car out of this shop. Trust me don’t leave it here. That’s bad when a worker is warning you. Good luck if you choose to bring your car here. Be ready to hire another mechanic to fix everything this shop does to your car. I can go on for days on the interactions with the owner of this shop.

Mr. B really help me out! Went 4 different places before finding Mr B. Even though is shop was full and had no time for me, he squeezed me in and saved me from losing a week of work. He was upfront, honest and fair. Even gave me a ride so I wouldn't have to pay for a ride. Best car service I've had in 10 years! Highly recommended! Nothing replaces hard work and honestly.

Beyond thankful for the compassion, knowledge, and skill harbored within the walls of this fine establishment! I had the pleasure of being serviced by Ernie and Jay, two absolutely outstanding men. My air conditioner decided to up and quit on me after a rather grueling cross country trip. All it took was a couple tests and a switch replacement, and they had my air blowing frigid in no time at all. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I recently got my car back from Mr. B's and Jay along with Ernie were very nice and knowledgeable. I went to drop my car off for an oil change, with tax had cost me $45. They also checked my fluids and did an inspection so I would know if there were any issues. Jay, one of the techs, even dropped me back to work, and Ernie came to my job to pick me up and take me back to the shop to get my car. Talk about great customer service🔥🔥🔥
